Flower Child Eyes Preston Royal Location

The rumors are true.

The popular Park Cities healthy eatery Flower Child is expanding it’s Dallas presence.

A lease deal for a Preston Hollow location at Preston Royal is currently in the works, and the franchise plans to open a location in Addison at 5290 Beltline Road (SIDE NOTE: While you might have heard of an Uptown location, sadly it’s Houston’s Uptown, not ours).

Flower Child, which has a simple, soul-satisfying mission to radiate positively delicious vibes, serves up healthy food (mostly lean proteins, cooked vegetables, and grains). Its menu caters to various eaters, including vegetarian, vegan, paleo, or just hungry.

Our favorite is the Mother Earth bowl, which combines ancient grains with sweet potato, portabella mushroom, avocado, cucumber, broccoli pesto, leafy greens, red pepper miso vinaigrette, and hemp seed.

In other Flower Child news, it and all eateries under the Fox Restaurants umbrella are ditching the use of plastic straws.

Eco-friendly straws will be available to those who need them for health reasons, but only by request.
