See You at The Fourth of July Parade

The Rotary Club of Park Cities’ historic annual Fourth of July Parade will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday in Highland Park and conclude with family-oriented activities in Goar Park, 3806 University Boulevard.

The festivities in Goar Park open to the public beginning at 9:30 a.m.

The parade route starts just south of Highland Park Town Hall at Euclid Avenue and Drexel Drive.

Those participants with vehicles and floats in the parade may begin lining up at 7:30 a.m.

The parade route travels: west on Euclid Avenue to Lakeside Drive; north on Lakeside Drive to Beverly Drive; west on Beverly Drive to Preston Road; north on Preston Road to University Boulevard; and east on University Boulevard to Goar Park.

Schedule:

7:30 a.m. – University Park Firecracker Fun Run, beginning and ending in Curtis Park

8 a.m. – Family bicycle judging at Moody Family YMCA, 6000 Preston Road

9 a.m. – Parade starts

9:30 a.m. – Activities kick off in Goar Park
