Another shutout wrapped up another district title for Highland Park on Friday, as the Lady Scots clinched the 11-5A crown with a 4-0 dismantling of Carrollton R.L. Turner.

HP earned its fifth consecutive clean sheet and ninth in the past 10 games. The Lady Scots also extended their winning streak to 14 games overall, and surpassed the 100-goal milestone for the season.

Presley Echols recorded a hat trick, and Sydney Cox added a goal for the Lady Scots (17-1-3, 12-0), who have two games left in the regular season, including the home finale on March 19 against Thomas Jefferson.

On the boys side, HP endured its worst loss of the season on Friday when the Scots fell 6-0 to Turner and dropped into a tie for fifth place in the district standings.

The Scots (6-10-4, 3-6-3) will try to get back in the playoff hunt in their final two games, on March 19 at Thomas Jefferson and March 22 at home against last-place Woodrow Wilson.
