Mindfulness for Beginners (4-week series)
Mindfulness is the process of bringing one’s attention to the present moment. It is a nonjudgmental awareness in which each thought, observation, feeling or sensation that arises is acknowledged and accepted. Mindfulness focuses the human brain on what is being sensed at each moment instead of its typical focus on the past and/or future. This class is designed for those wanting to develop their own mindfulness practice. Learn by doing in this highly supportive environment.
This class is a series format with four classes held every Monday from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM.
The dates of the sessions are 10/1, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22.
