Through the Looking Glass, Irritatingly, with Soup
Here’s what I think I think today, having seen Alice in Wonderland with my third-grader.
-I am underwhelmed with 3D, and I think it gives me a headache without adding much, if anything , to a movie’s entertainment value.
-I think 3D is here to stay, so I can only hope it gets better.
-I think I’m getting old. (“Color TV? Who needs that?”)
-I think it’s silly that Northpark AMC categorizes their tickets (at least for this movie) as adults, children and seniors when the price is the same for all three categories.
-I think I used to like The Soupman at Northpark, but now that they’ve dropped the fruit and chocolate that used to be included, but kept the $9 price for a paper cup of clam chowder, it’s okay with me if just closes, which is where I think it’s headed soon enough.
