Your Child is Very Talented
Proof that it’s never too early to start advertising your child’s activities via front yard sign. Even in University Park.

Every kid nowadays is so special. Listen here kiddos, you’re just run-of-the-mill until you actually excel at something.
Little Tommy sees the For Sale, Mad for Plaid, “No Parking Lot Here” and “Home of a [name your sport/school]” signs in the neighbors’ yards
Little Tommy goes to Little Gym, where the instructor (who he adores) hands him a colorful sign of his own. He doesn’t know what it says – after all he’s a preschooler
Little Tommy wants to plant it immediately in the front yard
It could be worse. At least Little Tommy’s urologist didn’t hand out signs.
In the late ’90s varsity football had them and the cheerleaders had full on megaphones in their yards, not the cutouts. Other sports had basically laminated posters that were also varsity level.
It’s my understanding that while it’s not a “racket” that there is one business that knocks out the wooden signs for high school students and that they’re not cheap. Does anyone know about this? Why is there no competition or is the money being split with the school?
