In-n-Out Burger Arrives. Soon. Sort of.
This has been a long time coming. First you heard about the one in Garland that was supposed to open. Then Fort Worth. Then you had a fever dream where one opened in your basement.
But now it’s actually coming. In-n-Out Burger has signed a lease with Dallas-based Rosebriar Corp. to open Texas’ first In-n-Out Burger at Caruth Haven Lane and Central Expressway, according to Rosebriar CEO Bill Hanks.
“We felt very fortunate to be in discussions with one of the most sought after fast-food establishments in the country and to close the first deal in Texas was great,” Hanks said in a statement.
The Irvine, Cali.-based company is known for “using only the freshest products, including serving never-frozen beef. ” In other words, delicious burger bombs of joy.
DBJ originally reported the news of In-n-Out’s arrival.
No timeline has been set for opening the restaurant, but it should arrive in 2011, according to In-n-Out spokesman Keith Tang. Whether that means January 1, 2011, or December 31, 2011 is anyone’s guess. Tang said “because of permits” the company doesn’t know the exact opening date until a few weeks before the launch.
So begin stashing away your Weight Watchers points now; you never know when you’ll need them.
