Diners Belly up to (Official) HP Soda Fountain

Remodeling still hasn’t started, but Highland Park Pharmacy — Make that Highland Park Soda Fountain — has been sporting its new name.

What do you think?

Fits. I believe TX laws state you can’t have “pharmacy” in your name if you don’t have a pharmacist on staff.

There is a pharmacist and always has been. Did you really think HP Pharmacy only sold grilled cheese sandwiches and chocolate malts? Where are you from? It was my late Grandmother’s pharmacy and we still have a tab in the back….at the pharmacy! Bouth the best hair brushes there too. The really hard to find and expensive boar’s bristle.

I just wish one HP treasure was kept in tact. But this was already ruined after the first remodel. When the original soda fountain ladies are all gone, I will be too. Until then, order up some drugs!
