No. 1 Scots Host Pearce Tonight

The Highland Park Scots, ranked No. 1 in Class 4A in the Texas Baseball Coaches Association’s state poll, will look to remain perfect in District 10-4A play when they play host to rival Pearce at 7:30 tonight at Scotland Yard.

Highland Park (18-2, 3-0) is fresh off a 5-2 win over Wylie on Friday night, while Pearce (9-6, 1-2) is coming off a 12-2 loss to Wylie East.

The Scots are tied for first place in the district with Rockwall-Heath. Those two teams will square off one week from tonight at Scotland Yard.

    Cupcake Challenge at the HP Scots vs. JJ Pearce Baseball game tonite at 7:30 at Scotland Yard. Proceeds from the two selected cupcakes sold from the Sprinklesmobile, which will be parked right outside the stadium on Westchester starting at 6pm, will go directly to HP Baseball and JJ Pearce Baseball. We have selected the HP cupcake of choice to be Red Velvet with Cream Cheese frosting adorned with an HP sugar decoration and JJ Pearce has selected their cupcake of choice to be Vanilla Milk Chocolate adorned with a mustang.

    Please come out to enjoy a great game of baseball and to witness the Sprinklesmobile’s first visit to Texas!
