All Ballgames in Caruth Park Are Unfair

I went to Caruth Park on Saturday morning to cover a Park Cities YMCA softball game for our “Little Big Leagues” feature. The first-base line is shaded by trees. The third-base line offers no protection from the sun. It wouldn’t surprise me if a disproportionate number of games at that park are won by the “home” team. I may have stumbled upon a topic for Malcolm Gladwell’s next book.
