Newest Highland Park Village addition, Akris, is slated to open its doors sometime this afternoon.

The store will house brand designer Albert Kriemler’s signature works. According to a video describing his Fall/Winter 2012/13 collection, Kriemler was inspired by abstract expressionist Franz Klein.

The boutique is only one of three in the US with the others residing in New York and Boston.
