Carpenter To Walk On at Missouri
Highland Park back-up quarterback Colby Carpenter will be a preferred walk-on at Missouri next season.
Carpenter completed 15 passes on 25 attempts for 196 yards and a touchdown this season. He did not throw an interception. Carpenter also rushed for 22 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries.
Missouri, a member of the Southeastern Conference, is 5-6 (2-5) this season. The Tigers have to beat Texas A&M on Saturday in their regular-season finale to become bowl eligible.
The only other Highland Park senior who has announced he will play in college is center William Barns, who recently committed to SMU.
