Don’t Be Alarmed By Police on Campuses

If you see police officers walking around Highland Park ISD campuses this week, don’t be alarmed. Superintendent Dawson Orr sent a letter to parents Friday explaining the situation:

Over the holidays, local law enforcement officials will walk each of our campuses with school leaders to closely examine the security measures we have in place and to provide recommendations for enhancements.

But if you do see anything newsworthy between now and New Year’s, don’t hesitate to email me at editor@peoplenewspapers.com.
