‘Art of Crime’ Seminar Hits SMU in October

A new art seminar is coming to the Meadows School of Fine Art this fall, and you may want to check it out. Virginia Curry, a recent Meadows grad, and Scotland Yard Art and Antique Squad founder Dick Ellis will lead the “World of Art and the Fine Art of Crime” week-long seminar with field trips in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The program is offered through SMU’s Continuing and Professional Education.

The program leaders promise students “a behind the scenes, ‘hands-on’ education” in which you “demystify the art world” through a mock auction with two of the world’s most respected art detectives, they say. Here are the dates and times, but for more info, go here.
