Embattled University of Texas system regent Wallace Hall, a Park Cities resident, will be publicly censured by a state panel following a yearlong investigation into his conduct.

The Dallas Morning News has the details on today’s hearing in Austin, which resulted in a 6-1 vote that stopped short of an unprecedented impeachment vote.

Comment volume is way down. Traffic too, I would guess. It’s kind of sad and it wasn’t always that way. Is it because everyone is on vacation? Or are people are starting to realize that you’ve simply given up? I mean, when we unwrap the free monthly print edition you send us and see blurry photos, pages of real estate ads and a few uninformative articles (most of which are probably sponsored anyway), all printed on fragile, crummy paper, what are we to think? Why should any of your readers make an effort if you aren’t willing to make one yourself?
