Single, but ready for more? Why not go on a singles cruise this year! According to dating expert Bonny Albo, connecting with nature can help single people can feel more grounded. If you still need more convincing, the following reasons why you should go on a singles cruise will have you packing your bags sooner rather than later.

You're not alone. Although you will probably be traveling solo, you won't be the only one. No need to feel embarrassed, nervous or scared. Chances are most everyone else feels the same way. Embrace your sense of adventure and hop aboard!

You'll have fun. Quit thinking of all the reasons why you shouldn't go, and focus on why you should. Try something new, you have no one holding you back. Eat what you want, go to bed when you please and soak up some rays on your schedule.

Whatever the reason, if you're single and ready for a change, you have two choices: go at it on your own or hire a professional to do the work for you. Here are some reasons you may consider using a matchmaking service:

Celebrate Christ at NorthPark Presbyterian

“To light an Advent candle is to say, in the face of all suggested to the contrary, God is coming into this world even as we speak. Because of that, we have abounding hope.

Dare to hope, even when you don’t have it in you.

Dare to hope, because there’s good reason to hope outside of you and me.

Dare to hope, because as less-than-obvious as it sometimes may seem, Christ is being born into the universe.”
–Rev. Brent Barry, Pastor, NorthPark Presbyterian

We hope you’ll join us for Christmas Eve services at 5 & 7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 24 at NorthPark Presbyterian Church.

5 p.m. is a family-friendly worship service, including a short children’s program with songs by the Children’s Choir.

7 p.m. is a traditional candlelight service featuring the NorthPark Sanctuary Choir. Communion will be served.

*Refreshments will be available between services in the Narthex.

Hope is based not on circumstance but on the promises of God. Be our guest at Christmas, and dare to hope.
